What to check
- Complaint volume relative to company size.
- Repeated themes: deposit problems, no-shows, refund refusal, warranty refusal, billing issues.
- Whether the company responds clearly or avoids specifics.
- Whether company names, addresses, phone numbers, and websites match other records.
- Search outside BBB too: Google reviews, regulator complaints, court records, and state licensing boards.
